Anne Arundel County’s 3rd annual Homeless Resource Day will be held on Saturday, March 27 at Glen Burnie High School. This event is a “one day, one stop” opportunity for individuals and families experiencing homelessness to access benefits, medical care, substance abuse resources and mental health counseling, as well as a variety of social services.
Arundel House of Hope is a proud supporter of Homeless Resource Day and we are turning to you, our friends and supporters, to ask you to serve as volunteers for this event. Arundel House of Hope will need volunteers to help on both Fri. March 26 and Sat., March 27. To learn about this volunteer opportunity and times where we could use your help, please contact Marsha Urban at 410-863-4888 ext 113 or email murban@arundelhoh.org.
Last year, Homeless Resource Day provided services to over 400 people and this year, because of our economic situation, the event is expecting to see even more families and individuals seeking assistance.
