Resource and Day Center

We Are Here For Those In Need.

The Resource and Day Center was opened in June of 2006 and provides service to men, women, and children experiencing homelessness in Anne Arundel County.

The Day Center is located at 514 North Crain Highway, Suite K in Glen Burnie, Maryland (across the street from Empire Towers - look for the blue awning) 

Open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturdays, The Resource and Day Center welcomes anyone who needs resource assistance or simply a place to come to, away from the streets.  For more information please call 410-863-4888.

What We Do.

The Resource and Day Center provides services and referrals for the homeless and those at risk of being homeless. Services include Telephone, Internet, Mail, Showers, Clothing, Transportation Assistance, Housing and Shelter Referrals, Medical and Health Assistance, Employment Assistance, and Case management Services. 

Additionally, The Resource and Day Center acts as a meeting center for support groups and an educational and training center for more than 300 clients.

What Are Our Goals?
The goals of the Day and Resource Center are: to provide a daytime shelter from the elements; provide hospitality services such as coffee and snacks to those in need; to provide sanitary services such as restrooms, shaving, and shower facilities to those in need; to provide professional services such as phone use and mailboxes to those in need; and offer case management services to anyone who requests such assistance.

Who Do We Serve?
We serve any person in need who comes to our facility.

How Can I Get Into the Program?
There are no requirements to get into the Day and Resource Center program. Simply come to the Day and Resource Center and complete an intake assessment with an intake worker.
